Welcome
At Kidz Kindy Blenheim @75 (0-3yrs), we provide a nurturing, warm environment catering for your child’s individual needs and routines. The Kindy has separate areas for babies/infants and for toddlers. This creates a safe, stimulating environment for your child to grow, explore and develop.

WALKERS
We give our toddlers plenty of opportunities to extend their skills and knowledge as they are rapidly learning about the world around them.
Activities include:
- Focus activities- based on children’s interests
- Art activities – painting, screen-printing, collage, finger painting, messy play, cutting, sticking
- Manipulative activities – playdough, clay
- Individual, large/small group activities
- Baking
- Mat times – stories, finger rhymes, counting, numbers, movement, music, instruments
- Fine motor skill activities – constructing, sorting, forming symbols, art creative activities etc.
- Gross motor skill activities – crawling, climbing, using trikes, ball skills etc.
- Imaginative play
- Water play, sand pit.
- Early literacy and early numeracy activities
- Reading and listening to stories and enjoying stories
NON-WALKERS
We provide an individualised programme based on your baby’s needs – their routines and their interests. We aim to provide an interesting, calm and stimulating environment.
Activities include:
- Art activities – paint, crayons and stamping
- Sensory and tactile activities – exploring textures, mirrors, messy play, water play, sand play
- Literacy activities – books, story time, music, songs, finger puppets, nursery rhymes
- Mathematical activities – sorting, shapes, counting, finger puppet plays, building towers,puzzles
- Floor time – exploring equipment, puzzles, blocks

What a wonderful day out for some of our older Kidz Kindy tamariki! 🌿🐑
We headed out in the Kidz Kindy van to Angie’s farm and had the best time exploring. The children loved running around in the fresh air, feeding the animals, sitting on the tractor, and playing together on the playground. There were so many smiles, laughs, and special moments throughout this trip. 🥰
We were incredibly lucky at Kidz Kindy @49 to have special guest Kyren Taumoefolau from the Tasman Makos & Chiefs come and spend some time with our tamariki! 🏉
Kyren was amazing with the kids, chucking the rugby ball around, sharing a few skills, and bringing lots of smiles and excitement to our centre. The children absolutely loved the experience!
A huge thank you to Kyren for also taking the time to sign and donate some rugby balls to Kidz Kindy @49 — such a generous gesture that our kids will treasure. We really appreciate you making the day so special! ⭐
The children love learning about all our emergency services so when Caitlin’s Dad and a group of his friends started fundraising for the westpac helicopter we thought what a great way to teach the children about this amazing service.
Our tamariki have enjoyed following the Rescue Warriors on their tracking map and even got involved in making signs for encouragement as they arrived in the South Island.
Today the Rescue Warriors arrived in Bluff after cycling 3000km from Cape Reinga over 27 days. An amazing effort for an amazing cause.
The children will love to see on the map that they made it to the finish line tomorrow 🙌
