Welcome

At Kidz Kindy Blenheim @49 we provide an exciting, well balanced educational programme for children aged between 3-5 years.

Transition to school group – the ‘Owl Group’

Our Transition to School group meets daily. This small group’s focus is to develop skills to support our children with their transition to start school. We will be working on writing their names, holding their pencil correctly, identifying letter sounds and names, identifying numbers 1-10, counting in order, and enjoying books.

We understand that each child develops at their own pace; therefore, our teachers plan the work carefully to incorporate all the different levels and abilities into the programme.

For more information about the programme we offer, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

We are living for science experiments at 49 lately!
Science experiments in our early childhood setting provide opportunities for groups of children to explore, investigate, and make sense of the world around them through hands-on learning. As children work together to test ideas, ask questions, and observe changes, they build curiosity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in their discoveries. These experiences support the Te Whāriki strands of Exploration | Mana Aotūroa, as children learn through active investigation, and Communication | Mana Reo, as they share ideas, predictions, and findings with their peers ✨️⚖️🫧🫟💧🔎
